Support Us

There are plenty of ways that you can help and support NEDC and the Seagrove Centre, and we are always keen to hear about new ways too!

We’ve outlined briefly the ones we have thought of, and please be assured that we would be very grateful for any support that you can give…

Be a Friend of NEDC

This is a new informal network group set up by the Board of Directors. It is essentially a growing list of supporters who help NEDC Seagrove Centre in a number of ways. Going forwards, we are looking for anyone who has an interest which they think can help the charity.

Become a Volunteer

Volunteers are a key asset to life at the Seagrove Centre. However much time you have available, we would love to see you and allow you to share your passion, enthusiasm and ideas with our Members.

Become a Board Member

The NEDC Board of Directors are actively recruiting for new volunteers to join them. This is an exciting opportunity for people from a wide range of backgrounds, skills and experience to make a difference in their local community.

Donating to NEDC

There are many ways in which you can make a donation to NEDC Seagrove Centre:

Any and all donations are very gratefully received, and will be used towards expanding our services to those who need them most.

Raising Money

Friends of NEDC will be headed up by one of the Board of Directors. In the first instance we need to work on our fundraising plans, so we are looking for a group of enthusiastic people who are willing to roll up their sleeves and hit the ground running….

To this end, we are looking for:

  • ‘ideas people’ who can come up with fundraising ideas
  • ‘do-ers’ who like organising and running events
  • ‘attendees’ who can turn up and attend various functions
  • ‘networkers’ who have contacts, distribution lists and a persuasive manner

Not only do we at the Seagrove Centre believe in helping the environment, we have discovered that it can help us raise funds too!

So, if you have any of the items listed below, and you were not sure what to do with them, please pass them onto us, and we can make sure they are treated well.

  • Clothes, linens

  • Household goods

  • Books, CD’s, DVD’s

  • Mobile phones

  • Toner / inkjet cartridges

  • Foreign currency
